I’ve named a style after my sister (Rachael), my mother (Jana), and it’s time my paternal grandmother gets a style. Enter Lois. She was a world traveled, operatic-voiced, baking dynamo who loved to bust out her canastas and pretend she was a flamenco dancer. She was tall and smart and kind (but no nonsense), and though her sense of style was often swishy 80s and 90s multi-colored track suits, she was never without her rings and a nice necklace. I think she’d love this one. With seven white African opal stones in a lantern shape, on a vintage box chain, with vintage parrot clasp. This piece is 32.5” long.

Lois unfortunately passed in 2005, long before I ever started thinking about making jewelry (as did my maternal grandmother, Marlys, who will need a style soon), but I know she (and Marlys) would have supported me fervently, and hopefully do, from where ever they are in the universe.
