While I found a lot of pieces that look similar to these, and they’re clearly meant to resemble the famed Otagiri “Horizon” set, nothing came up that was exactly like these. With wide stripes of navy blue, thin stripes of umber and tan, and a speckled, off-white body, this pair of mid-century mugs are handsome and masculine without being intense about it. They also have a beautifully formed lip; thin, but not delicate, curving gently outward. In perfect condition. They would make a fine gift for someone who is a little masculine, but not toxic about it. Measures 3.5” tall, and 4.25” wide with handle.
