I found another listing for this type of tin, and it’s attributed to the Scottish coat of arms, but that’s not what it is. The animal of Sotland is the unicorn though; I’m not sure what this engraving is for. But, it’s lovely, and it seems to be an old face powder tin. Definite patina and aging to the brass plating, tin is steel or aluminum inside. Measures 2.5” across, and 1.5” high.
