This 1970s-80s 6×6” ceramic trivet features the Norwegian art of rosemåling (rose-painting), and the words Vær så god, which means “you’re welcome,” “be so good,” “here you go” and other things, depending on context. It is in terrific condition, save for the hanging tag on the back; it looks a wee bit threadbare, so I wouldn’t trust it to use for wall display.
