I love a handmade bowl, it always makes me a little sad to see one in a thrift store. This one has a beautiful bone colored texture on the outside, unglazed, reminiscent of a thatch of foliage, or perhaps an ancient language. Its rim is glazed with a deep earthy red clay color, and it measures 4.” across and about 2” tall. Maker’s mark reads “hathy,” which may stand for Hathaway, perhaps? Doesn’t look like it’s meant to be Kathy, at least.
