1950s Fenton White Milk Glass Hobnail Egg Vase

1950s Fenton White Milk Glass Hobnail Egg Vase
Have you been longing for a vase (pronounced vahze, please) that looks like an alien life form’s egg? Or maybe their ship? Have I got the vase (say it) for you! This piece is a classic pure white milk glass, with a hobnail texture and scalloped rim.
This somewhat rare Fenton piece is sadly not in the flawless condition I thought it to be in. One of the tripod legs has broken off, and whomever repaired it did not exactly perfectly glue it back on (photo #2). But, the repair is quite strong, and it doesn’t seem like it will hinder the look or functionality of the piece, if the leg is positioned to the back. Because of this repair, I will be pricing the item at $40 instead of $50 as I’d originally intended; other like pieces are priced between $50-$165 from my research.
This vase (give it to me) measures 8 1/2” tall and 5 1/2” wide.
